U.S. THAILAND-BUSINESS COUNCIL TO CO-SPONSOR U.S. – THAI CONFERENCE ON CLEAN WATER FOR ASIA

The U.S.-Thailand Business Council is pleased to announce that it will co-sponsor Partnering for Clean Water in Asia, a conference to highlight water issues and related business opportunities for U.S. companies in 10 Asian countries.  Hosted by the governments of the United States and Thailand, the conference will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, July 10-12.

The event will provide participants with information on large-scale projects in the areas of water supply for industrial, commercial, and residential use; wastewater treatment; desalination; irrigation; decontamination of potable water; and, flood control and flood forecasting.  Key decision makers representing 25 projects from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Vietnam as well as Thailand, will attend the conference to present their plans and meet with interested U.S. company representatives in pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings.
