On Monday 16^th August 2004, Thailand-US Business Council (TUSBC) hosted a welcome luncheon for U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Alabama), Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-New Jersey) and U.S. House of Representative Robert Cramer (D-Alabama at the Bangkok Club. During the discussions, the U.S. delegates openly expressed their points of view on a few relevant issues, namely the Thai – U.S. FTA and the current situation in Iraq.

The TUSBC Working Luncheon series is held monthly and is aimed at providing TUSBC members with the opportunity to engage in frank and open discussion with top policy makers both Thai and American. All sessions are off record.
