MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS The ongoing collaborative partnership between the U.S.-Thailand Business Council (USTBC) and its counterpart in Bangkok, the Thailand-U.S. Business Council (TUSBC), ensures a thorough and timely response to member needs on both sides of the Pacific. Within the framework of this partnership, the USTBC provides the following key membership services to U.S. companies that are seeking to further develop their interests in Thailand.  Promotes business and investment initiatives by creating an ongoing dialogue between the public and private sectors of the United States and Thailand.  Assists U.S. executives with their business development, investment, and market access strategies by industry and subsector in Thailand; Provides executive-level introductions to strategic professional contacts and investment partners in Thailand.  Sponsors, co-sponsors, and coordinates trade missions, exhibitions, conferences and symposia to strengthen members' understanding of strategic business issues affecting U.S.-Thailand commercial and economic development. Distributes publications identifying business opportunities, formulates project assessments, and providing unique and timely coverage of economic and trade developments between the United States and Thailand relations.  Oversees the formation and activities of subcommittees to target strategic bi-national industry sectors and issues of critical importance.  Initiates, sponsors, and co-sponsors research initiatives to (1) uncover and examine issues of contemporary importance to the Council's membership; and (2) establish a collective position for the Council in ongoing bi-national and international policy dialogues.  Fosters greater understanding and long-term amity between Thailand and the United States.
